1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Gold Jewelry Identifier ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Gold Jewelry Identifier is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to appraise jewelry from photographs and return a buy-or-walk verdict, metal and karat confidence, decoded hallmark stamps, and a live scrap-melt value estimate. The App is developed and published by Bulpara Inc.

3. Informational Purposes Only

The App provides AI-generated analysis for informational purposes. Identifications, karat estimates, hallmark interpretations, real-gold likelihood scores, and scrap-melt values are subjective, probabilistic, and may be wrong. Results must not be used as the sole basis for purchase, sale, insurance, or appraisal decisions. For high-value transactions, always confirm with a certified jeweler, acid test, or XRF analyzer.

4. No Warranty of Accuracy or Value

Gold identification from a phone photograph is inherently imprecise — even expert jewelers disagree. A "Buy" verdict or a positive karat reading from the App does not guarantee that a piece is real gold, is the indicated karat, or has the indicated resale or scrap-melt value. You assume all financial risk associated with buying, selling, or valuing any jewelry based on the App's output. Spot-price data is provided for reference only and may lag real-time market pricing.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with all applicable laws, including consumer-protection and resale-disclosure regulations in your jurisdiction. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. You agree not to represent App-generated verdicts as certified or professional appraisals.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, icons, AI models, hallmark reference data, and branding, is the intellectual property of Bulpara Inc. and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Your submitted photos and the analyses you receive belong to you.

7. Subscription Terms

Premium features require an active subscription. Pricing:

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms and policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

8. Auto-Renewal

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. In no event shall Bulpara Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App — including but not limited to financial loss, mispurchase, resale disputes, or any other loss resulting from reliance on verdicts, karat estimates, hallmark interpretations, or scrap-melt values generated by the App.

12. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the transmission of your photos to our servers for AI analysis as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for users who violate these terms or abuse the service. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
